The trek begins from Bawta village, a charming settlement known for its traditional Kath-Kuni style wooden houses, made from sturdy deodar cedar wood. The trail takes you through dense oak and rhododendron forests, where the air is filled with the fresh scent of pine.

- Hanging Village of JakhaJakha is known as the 'Hanging Village' due to its steeply built houses that appear stacked on top of one another. This small Himalayan settlement is the last inhabited village before entering the wild terrain.
- Buransh KandiA short stretch of rhododendron forests adds a magical touch to the trail. If you trek during the blooming season, you'll witness rhododendrons in full bloom, painting the landscape in stunning shades of red and pink.
- Dandreyash ThatchThis vast open meadow, surrounded by towering peaks and a view of the Rupin waterfall, serves as one of the best camping spots. In the summer, it is dotted with wildflowers.
- Rupin WaterfallThe best part of the trek is the Rupin Waterfall. The river flows down from a great height in multiple tiers, and you even get a chance to camp near the base of the waterfall.
- Rupin Pass – The Final PushCrossing the Rupin Pass at an impressive elevation of 4,700m (15,350 ft) is a rewarding experience. The narrow Rupin Gully, with its snow-covered path, adds an element of adventure.
- Descent into Sangla ValleyUnlike most treks that retrace their steps, the Rupin Pass Trek ends in a different location. The final descent leads to the beautiful Sangla Valley in Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility & Fitness
High altitude treks require a baseline of physical fitness. Review the criteria below and check your readiness.
- The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 30 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 70 minutes without stress.
- If the trekker prefers cycling he/ she should be able to cycle 18 km of distance in 50 minutes.
- If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opt Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry 3-5 kg backpack.
- Pulse rate at rest must be in between 60 to 100 beats per minute.
- Blood Pressure Reading must be in between DIASTOLIC 75 – 85, SYSTOLIC 100 - 130 mm Hg.
- Respiratory rate at rest must be in between 12 to 20 breaths per minute.
- Should not have Liver and kidney issues, Diabetes Mellitus, Bronchial Asthma, Heart problems, Hypertension, etc.

Shimla Old Bus Stand at 05:30 am.
Drop Off
Shimla old bus stand by 11:00 pm to 1:00 am.
Travel Options
- 01Take an overnight bus to Shimla from Delhi (350 km | 10 hr) or Chandigarh (120 km | 4 hr). Govt buses are highly recommended over private buses for reliability.
- 02Take a train to Kalka and drive to Shimla. You can also take the pleasure of the toy train from Kalka to Shimla.
- 03Take a flight to Shimla airport (Jubbarhatti airport, 22 km away). If you're arriving by air, come one day in advance.

Inclusions
- Accommodation: Homestay (dormitory with ground mattress) and Camping (Twin sharing basis).
- Meals: All meals (Veg + Egg) from Day 1 Dinner to Day 7 breakfast.
- Support: Base camp manager, Mountaineering & First aid qualified Trek Leader, Experienced high altitude chef, Local experienced guides, and support staff.
- Trek equipment: Sleeping bag, Sleeping liners, mattresses, Utensils, 3-men all-season tents, Kitchen & Dining tent, Toilet tent, etc.
- First aid: Medical kit, Stretcher, Oxygen cylinder, Blood pressure monitor, Oximeter, Stethoscope.
- Mules/porters to carry the central luggage.
- Cloakroom facility at pick up point (Shimla).
- All necessary permits and entry fees.
- Trek Completion Certificate.
Exclusions
- Transportation to and from the base camp (if not opted via TTH).
- Off-loading of personal backpacks (can be added as an extra).
- Any personal expenses or items not mentioned in inclusions.

Between 24 days and 15 days
- 30% deduction of trek fee
- 100% trek fee cash voucher for same trip
- 85% trek fee cash voucher for any trip
Between 14 days and 10 days
- 50% deduction of trek fee
- 80% trek fee cash voucher for same trip
- 70% trek fee cash voucher for any trip
Less than 9 days
- No cash refund
- 20% trek fee cash voucher for the same trip
- 10% trek fee cash voucher for any trip
Emergency Cases
In case of a death in the immediate family or hospitalization (min 48 hrs): 90% trek fee refund in cash & 10% as a voucher. Valid documents required.
Important Notes
- 01To reschedule a trek (same trek only), a 30% rescheduling fee of the trek cost will apply.
- 02Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats.
- 03In case of a cash refund, only the portion of the payment made in cash shall be eligible.
