Itinerary (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Start your journey early from Rishikesh and drive to Lohajung (approx 9–10 hours). Enjoy scenic views of Devprayag, Karnaprayag, and mountain valleys along the way. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Lohajung.
Begin your trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal (around 6 km). The trail winds through thick oak and rhododendron forests. Camp beside the beautiful frozen lake of Bekaltal for the night.
Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal (7 km). Pass through snowy meadows with grand views of Mt. Trishul and Nanda Ghunti. Camp near the mesmerizing Brahmatal lake for the night under a starlit sky.
Ascend to Brahmatal Summit (12,200 ft) for a 360° view of the Himalayas including Chaukhamba, Neelkanth, and Trishul peaks. After enjoying the summit, descend to Lohajung via Daldum. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.
After breakfast, depart from Lohajung and drive back to Rishikesh (9–10 hours). Trip ends with wonderful memories of the Brahmatal trek.
